ADHD is one of the most common psychiatric disorders of childhood and adolescence and often persists into adulthood. It is a chronic disorder with a substantial impact on quality of life for patients and their families.

When left untreated, ADHD can lead to a range of difficulties—from low self-esteem, academic underperformance, and mental health challenges in children, to problems with task initiation, task completion, impulsivity, and impatience in adults, often resulting in workplace and interpersonal conflict.

This module explores ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults, equipping you as a front shop team member with a better understanding of this commonly overlooked condition. It provides a solid knowledge base to help you confidently engage with parents and caregivers and offer informed support.
